Summary: The corner room was big and had a view of the Square. We sat in the square every night after wandering around different parts of Savannah and it added to the uniqueness of the hotel. One night in the park a gentleman was playing sax and folks were dancing when walking by! Oh and the hotel had wine and cheese at 4:30 with a piano player and cookies in the evening as well as water and coffee in the lobby as well as your room. The Bryant parking garage across the street had a max day price of $20 (The SAV parking pass is available in the office but does not include parking garages which was disappointing and parking in the street can be difficult) . Have stayed in several places over the years but the Planters is my new tavorite!

Summary: Very good locations with valet parking for $35 per day which is good value. Always staff in the lobby and good service with free cookies. The rooms are spacious and have lots of charm with beautiful southern curtains and valances. Room do not have the standard small fridges though which was an issue. But I'll go back to stay.

Summary: My 20 year old daughter and I shared a 2 twin bed room. Beds were so comfy, close to everything for walking purposes and the wine and cheese/nuts served during cocktail hour with piano player playing wonderful songs-that was the icing on the cake.

Summary: Desk clerks were very helpful. The Inn is located in a great location to the River walk and a trolley stop. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Parking is $30 across the street. Valet is around $35. Valet is best choice because the elevator is not working in the parking garage. You have to ask for ice at the front desk and you have to ask for maid service .

Summary: Patrick and Rodney our doorman were awesome —they made our stay worthwhile You get what you pay for so while historic it is a dated hotel so don’t expect the Taj Mahal with that said they have a wine tasting for guests and a cookie hour for kids —the proximity to everything is phenomenal I would stay there again

Summary: Location was amazing and the hotel had a charming atmosphere but it lacked warmth. Front desk staff and valet were both very friendly and helpful. Our room wasn’t touched for a clean up or supply of coffee and bathroom items even though we were there 3 nights. I would stay again because it was convenient and comfortable.
